Mary Ann goes through the coolinary menu, which starts on Friday and goes through the month of August.  Lots of restaurants this year that are new to the coolinary event.

Today is National Mango Day!  Mary Ann talks about mangoes and their popularity.  The New York Times recently published a list of top 25 restaurants in New Orleans.   Dinner last night was at Habanero’s in Mandeville, Mary Ann liked it very much and will be back.    

Today on Chew on This, Patty B and Don Clement talk with Chef Amy Mehrtens with Copper Vine Hotel downtown. Coolinary starts next month, August 1, $25 lunch, $50 dinner.  and a special 25% off a staycation at the Inn.  

Today on The Food Show, Mary Ann talks about the Coquette Chocolate Dinner she attended last night.  4 course meal featured a different type of chocolate in each course. Lunch today was at Meribo Then, the conversation turned to Sugar Cookies.
