Tom Fitzmorris has been covering the food scene in New Orleans for nearly 50 years. Starting out at the Driftwood newspaper at UNO, his first dining column ran in 1972, and it reviewed The Flambeau Room, operated by Peter Sclafani.

Today, Mary Ann’s guest is Meagan and Mark Taliancich, owners of the Happy Raptor Distillery.  They just released their King Cake flavored Rum, only available from January 6th ’til Mardi Gras.
