After gaining a BA in Journalism & Business. Rosalind Caire Muire worked as a news reporter for KHOM-FM and News Director of KTIB-AM radio and hosted her own daily talk show. She is featured on social media & in Tchefuncte Living magazine in “Mixology with Roz” as a contributing writer.  WGSO streams “Roz on the Rocks” every Friday from 1:00-2:00 PM CST.

Today, Roz’s guest is Appellate Judge Jimmy Kuhn, and Roz and Judge Kuhn will be mixing up a Boulevardier.  Employing whiskey, sweet vermouth and Campari, the Boulevardier is simply a variation on the classic Negroni that is adored for its deft balance of bitter, boozy and sweet. The difference in flavor, however, is anything but simple. While the gin-based Negroni is crisp and bracing, the whiskey-based Boulevardier is rich and warming.

Judge Jimmy has been an appellate court justice for over 20 years, is an avid traveler and has a lot to talk about.  Judge’s spirit of choice is bourbon, the reason for the Boulevardier.  Judge Jimmy talks about his community involvement, including a nonprofit to help disadvantaged youth, helping to bring the CASA program http://casaneworleans.org/ to Louisiana, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
