Rosalind (Roz) Caire Murr comes from deep Southern roots, as for generations, the Caire family has owned and managed Caire & Graugnard Sugar along the Mississippi River. As a lifelong Greater New Orleans area local, there is rarely a week without celebrations with family & friends. Rosalind’s large extended family promotes many festivities and is a vital part of her life. Mixology is not only a creative outlet for her, it also enhances her family celebrations with a festive flair!  Now she is featured on social media & in Tchefuncte Living magazine in “Mixology with Roz” as a contributing writer.

Roz’s guest today is Zachary Leach ,  lead bartender at Tchefuncte   https://tchefunctes.com/on the Northshore in Madisonville.  Zack is mixing up some classic cocktails .  First is a tiki cocktail, 1/2 oz each of pineapple, orange, and lime juice , 2 oz of any cask strength bourbon and 1/2 oz simple syrup, the Hala kalani cocktail.  

the second cocktail is served in a sugar rimmed glass, called an Earl Gray Martini:   1 oz earl gray infused gin, (Wonderberg Gin, from Mississippi)  3/4 oz simple syrup. 3/4 oz lemon juice, egg white
