The Food Show With Tom & Mary-Ann Fitzmorris

Written by on November 18, 2022

Tom Fitzmorris has been covering the food scene in New Orleans for nearly 50 years. Starting out at the Driftwood newspaper at UNO, his first dining column ran in 1972, and it reviewed The Flambeau Room, operated by Peter Sclafani.

In April of 2019 another of Tom’s dreams was realized when Mary Ann joined the show as co-host. A year later the show moved back to AM radio right here on WGSO.

Mary Ann has her own book, about her passion, family life. It’s called The Suzie Homemaker Chronicles, based on a newspaper column she wrote for eight years. She also has a separate podcast called Emmie The Story Lady, on Spotify and all other platforms.
