Tom Fitzmorris has been covering the food scene in New Orleans for nearly 50 years. Starting out at the Driftwood newspaper at UNO, his first dining column ran in 1972, and it reviewed The Flambeau Room, operated by Peter Sclafani. A few years later he realized a dream of talking on the radio right here at WGSO.
