Tom Fitzmorris has been covering the food scene in New Orleans for nearly 50 years. Starting out at the Driftwood newspaper at UNO, his first dining column ran in 1972, and it reviewed The Flambeau Room, operated by Peter Sclafani. Tom did nearly 32 years of The Food Show on WSMB amid all the various changes of formats and call letters that followed. In April of 2019 another of Tom’s dreams was realized when Mary Ann joined the show as co-host. A year later the show moved back to AM radio right here on WGSO.
